Outline of Research at the Start

姿勢は多くの動物で必須の要素である。動物は感覚情報をどのように脳内で処理し、どのように適切な姿勢制御運動を行うか一連の神経回路は完全には解明されていない。また、複数の情報がどのように統合されるかは未解明部分が多い。そこで、ゼブラフィッシュ仔魚を用いて、単一筋肉で駆動される単純な姿勢制御反応を研究対象にする。行動観察や細胞の活動イメージング、細胞破壊、機能操作実験を通して、視覚や前庭感覚由来の姿勢制御の神経回路を明らかにする。
