| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究は、育種が進んだニジマスを養殖魚のモデル生物として捉え、本種の主要IGF系タンパク4種（IGF-1、-2、IGFBP-2aおよび-2b）に着目して成長調節機構を明らかにする。初めにIGF-2とIGFBP-2aの測定系を確立する。その後、ニジマスの血清を用いて、各タンパクと成長率のリンクを調べ、成長指標としての有用性を検証する。さらに、育種型と野生型の各タンパク質の血中量を比較することによって、育種がIGF系タンパクに与える効果を明らかにする。
