人間が使用する言語である自然言語の背後には，非線形構造（例えば木構造）があるとされる．一方で，その非線形構造は，「人間が観測して初めて定まるのか」，あるいは「テキストそのものから定まるのか」は自明ではない．本研究では，非線形構造の不確かさを考慮し非線形性を定量することで，非線形構造が定まる条件や過程を明らかにすることを目指す．
