| Outline of Research at the Start |
近年Human Computer Interaction（HCI）やロボティクスの分野で、 コンピュータに柔らかさを取り入れる動きが起こっている。そして柔らかなインタフェースやロボットを実現するための技術として、ソフトセンサやソフトアクチュエータの研究が進められている。近年ではスマートマテリアルとよばれる材料を活用したソフトセンサ・アクチュエータの開発が進められているが、これらは別々に設計されることが多く、変形機構が入力と出力の両方を備えているものは少ない。本研究では単純な構成で、柔軟な変形機構とセンサ、アクチュエータとを一体で設計、製造できる仕組みの開発に取り組む。
