Outline of Research at the Start

マイクロプラスチック（MPs）の生態影響をより詳細に理解するためには、野生生物における「MPs摂取」と「何を食べたか」の比較が重要である。しかし、現在の方法ではMPs分析の過程で胃内容物を破壊してしまうため、従来の胃内容物に基づく食性分析はできない。そこで本研究では、MPs摂取量が多いカニをモデル生物として、体内脂肪酸組成をトレーサにMPs摂取経路を解明し、その摂取量を予測する技術の確立を目指す。
