Outline of Research at the Start

Male mosquitoes use hearing to find females for mating. Hearing is an ideal target for mosquito control. This project explores the effect of temperature on Aedes aegypti hearing system to improve our understanding of these systems, and to guide development of new tools targeting mosquito hearing.
