Outline of Research at the Start

真核生物では生物界ごとにステロール組成や生体で機能するステロイドホルモン種が異なる。本研究ではステロール生理機能研究におけるゼニゴケの優位性を生かし以下の研究を実施する。
（１）植物がC28,29-植物ステロールを選択した生理学的意義の解明
（２）植物ステロイドホルモンの起源の探索
（３）本研究で作出した変異株を利用した有用ステロイド生産ゼニゴケの作出
