| Outline of Research at the Start |
開殻分子であるラジカルの特異な磁気特性や発光特性が報告されている。特にラジカルが示すスピン間相互作用に基づく発光特性の外部磁場依存性（マグネトルミネッセンス）が近年注目されており、高効率発光を示す分子創製に期待が高まる。本研究ではビルディングブロックに近年注目を集めているトリス（トリクロロフェニル）メチル（TTM）ラジカルを用いたドナーアクセプター型の大環状有機発光ラジカルを創製する。大環状有機発ラジカルのスピン間相互作用と高効率発光を示すマグネトルミネッセンスを用いた新規光機能材料の開拓を目指す。
