Outline of Research at the Start |
In this research, we plan to develop metamaterial based high gain antenna and on-chip CMOS rectifier to harvest the electromagnetic energy from beyond 5G/6G wireless communication systems. This is inherent because the conventional EH system can harvest high power only, whereas the future wireless communication system operates at very low power. Therefore, a revolutionary design methodology is necessary to harvest EM energy from such future wireless systems. The realization of the proposed idea will contribute to provide sustainable low-cost battery free operation of IoTs and sensors devices.
