Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、昭和期の妊娠小説における〈単性生殖〉表象についてのジェンダー秩序の解明をおこなう。『新青年』や『文芸時代』などのモダニズム文学雑誌に発表された妊娠小説を縦覧しつつ、作品内のジェンダーと生殖テクノロジーの関係を男性学の方法を用い分析することで、ジェンダーと生殖のテーマに関する新しい日本近代文学史の構築をめざす。妊娠をめぐる多様な性のあり方からの関与の事実を小説から明らかにすることで、異性愛中心主義に語られてきた「妊娠」そのものの認識的枠組みを根本から刷新する試みとなるだろう。
