| Outline of Research at the Start |
CAR-T細胞療法はがん免疫療法の1つであり、がんに対する新たな治療戦略として注目されている。しかし、固形がんに対する治療効果は未だ限定的であり、有効性を改善するためにはがん間質の主要な構成要素であるがん関連線維芽細胞 (CAFs) によるCAR-T細胞の抑制を打開する必要がある。
本研究では、CAFsによる免疫抑制因子の受容体の細胞外ドメインと活性化分子のシグナルドメインをキメラ化したスイッチレセプターを設計しCAR-T細胞に導入することで、CAFsによる負の影響を逆に活性化シグナルに転換したCAR-T細胞の開発に挑戦する。
