Outline of Research at the Start

To identify the effect of the environment on fish health and physiology, we collect blue damselfish Chrysiptera cyanea along gradients of human activities in Okinawa. Using RNA sequencing, we identify biological processes modified by local conditions and aim to develop new indicators of pollution.
