Outline of Research at the Start

武力紛争下で行使される政治的暴力（戦時暴力）はどのような長期的影響を残すのだろうか。本研究は，（1）米国とベトナムの軍事，被害記録を用いた爆撃，不発弾，枯葉剤被害のデータ作成，（2）戦時暴力被災者，被災者家族を含む対象者へのサーベイ調査とフィールド実験による社会参加や利他的行動等の選好・行動傾向への影響の検証（個人レベルの長期的影響），（3）地域レベルの人口動態，経済成長等といった社会経済指標への影響の検証（社会レベルの長期的影響）および（4）爆撃の直接的被害，不発弾や枯葉剤のような残存性（persistence）の異なる戦時暴力の比較による因果メカニズムの検証に取り組む。
