Outline of Research at the Start

東南アジアでの中国の投資活動は、現地の経済発展に寄与することが期待される一方で、人間開発や財政や環境の持続可能性への影響も指摘されている。先行研究では、現地の中央政府やエリート層の意向を「現地の意向」と同義に捉える傾向があるが、弱者層の存在は無視されることが多い。本研究は、中国投資に関わる諸団体（中国政府、現地政府、中国・現地企業）と弱者層との相互連関に注目し、中国投資に関わるいかなる要因が途上国の弱者層の人間開発の改善または悪化につながるのかを解明する。また、香港城市大学の謝燕娜准教授との本研究の共同実施を通してグローバル中国研究論の日本およびアジア太平洋地域での推進を目指す。
