Outline of Research at the Start

前立腺癌は中高年男性の活躍層に発症し、抗アンドロゲン療法による筋力低下と骨破壊による運動器の機能喪失により生活の質が著しく阻害される。骨転移性の前立腺癌治療は分子標的の解明が研究途上であり、特に根治が難しい癌疾患である。本課題では、RNA-seq解析で新たに発見した、骨転移した前立腺癌が発現する細胞膜上抗原(PCBMa)を標的とした医療用中和抗体を開発する。さらに、これら中和抗体に細胞障害性T細胞を賦活化するCD3抗原認識部位を付与し、PCBMaとの二重特異性抗体による治療効果の高い免疫療法の基盤を構築する。
