Outline of Research at the Start

多数の角膜内皮移植(DMEK)施行とヒト培養角膜内皮細胞注入の臨床試験で国際的に著名なシンガポール国立大学・シンガポール眼科研究所の所長であるJod S Mehta教授と、国際的に角膜移植免疫応答の眼免疫研究の専門家として知られる本研究代表者(堀純子)が共同で、DMEK後の患者の眼内の免疫プロファイルと、ヒト培養角膜内皮細胞およびin vivoで ウイルスベクターを導入した角膜内皮細胞の、免疫プロファイルと拒絶反応を解析し、角膜の再生治療および遺伝子治療の臨床応用を目指す。
