本研究は、脊髄損傷患者に対し、運動の意図を脳波で解読し、安全で簡便な経皮的脊髄刺激によって関節運動に必要な筋活動パターンを最適化するリハビリテーション法を確立することを目的としている。これにより歩行などの移動能力の劇的な向上を目指し、脊髄損傷患者に対する新たなリハビリテーション法の開発が期待される
