Outline of Research at the Start	国際共同研究先である米国カーネギーメロン大学では，認知心理学の記憶・学習理論に基づいた認知モデルを知的学習支援システム(Cognitive Tutor)に搭載し，学習者の個別的な知識獲得や適応的学習支援を行っている．本研究では，AI技術を用いた垂直関係による支援を既存の協調的学習支援環境に導入し，個人レベルでの知識獲得をさらに促進させるとともに，グループレベルでの相互作用の質向上を図る．また，開発したシステムを用いて日米比較実験を行い，日本人の協同問題解決スキルやその育成方法についても新たに探る．
