Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have successfully prepared monolayer-deposited CeO2 nanoparticle film on Si substrate. CeO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by supercritical hydrothermal synthesis. Si substrate was chemically modified to have functional group that has high affinity with CeO2 nanoparticles. In case of multiple layer of CeO2 nanoparticles, annealing in solvent resulted in the better organized structure, which is similar to organic molecular thin films.
