Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The first outcome of this study is to have clarified some types of tolerance attitude to suicide in Japan. The second one is to have developed multiple tools for suicidal tolerance attitude. For example, the Japanese version of the Stigma of Suicide scale was made and added new items. The third outcome is about relevant factors of suicidal attitude. Suicidal tolerance attitude is affected by mental health and experience of suicide incident of a familiar person. And it has a negative effect on the attitude to suicide prevention. At last, the suicide prevention education program which is cared for personal differences of attitude to suicide was developed and evaluated the effects.
