Outline of Final Research Achievements |
"LSPR sensors" are known to be used for chemical sensing based on color changes of metal nanoparticles. We developed LSPR sensors that output electrical signals directly, on the basis of plasmon-induced charge separation (PICS), which we found previously. The sensors can be applied to colored and turbid samples. We also succeeded to output electrical signals from a single nanoparticle. In addition, we developed potential-scanning, scattering-based, and wavelength-tunable LSPR sensors.
