Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) is a promising approach to change health-related cognitions and behaviors. However, it can be administered by qualified and trained personnel, thus limiting its accessibility. We have therefore developed a smartphone-based CBT app and conducted a randomized controlled trial to examine its efficacy among patients with depression which is a significant risk factor for many life-style related diseases.
