Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have studied about the statistical methods to settle the mathematical problems of appearing in environmental issues. Themes in detail were ecology risk evaluation, a pollution source analysis, the solar radiation energy, landslide disaster and a cell reply to chemicals. About ecology risk evaluation, we proposed a method to estimate chronic toxicity from acute toxicity. About a pollution source analysis, we estimated PCB sources in Muroran port sediments. About the solar radiation energy, landslide disaster and a cell reply to chemicals, we developed statistical models which can describe the phenomena.
