If environmental information can be obtained by sensors in mobile terminals such as smartphones, then preparing specific infrastructure for gathering sensing information would be unneeded. But since people with smartphones should move autonomously, necessary information cannot always be obtained. Wireless communication is used for gathering information. Then selecting appropriate mobile terminals is quite difficult, since we should take into account constraints such as communication area, available band width, sensing area, and available battery power of terminal. In this research, given a query for sensing information, we have developed an efficienct method for gathering necessary information, under satisfying specified constraints. We have evaluated usefulness of the method through computer simulation.
