Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study was examined the effective methods of mediation in the policy process, through the Japan-US comparative analysis on the policy of regeneration and reconstruction of environmental damage areas. To achieve the effective mediation for the regeneration and reconstruction of environmental damage area, needs to promote the elimination of distrust and conflicts, and to share the common understanding of the problems and future vision among stakeholders. It is also needed that these elements are incorporated into the policy and institutionalized so as to function as an effective social system.
