Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to construct a strong joint between application and theory around network optimization, we solved applications in real world problems and developed optimization theory progressively. In applications, we solved several problems on medical field, public transportation field, and restaurant service field. Our research showed possibility of the optimization technique on these applications. As investigating evaluation methods, we compared ranking techniques and researched information diffusion games on graphs. In addition, we discussed an extension of popular matching. In theoretical side, we developed algorithms for communication network optimization, constructed testing methods for group testing on graphs, and proposed a faster strongly polynomial time algorithm for a quickest flow problem.
