Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this study was to investigate how caregivers’ oral health literacy (OHL) and their health behaviors are related to the oral health status of their 3-year-old children in Japan. This survey indicated that the OHL of female caregivers was associated with their SES , oral health and children's oral health. The survey also suggested that caregivers’ OHL could influence their children’s oral health. In conclusion, caregivers’ OHL can have some impact on the oral health outcomes of their children.
