In this research, focusing on the influence of the Industrial Revolution, the modernization and urbanization in Great Britain from the 1750s to the end of Victorian period are chronologically examined. Thereby starting from Jane Austen, the descriptions and representations of the Industrial Revolution are historically and culturally are studied from manifold viewpoints.
