| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We consider economic properties of city centers from the point of view of economic theory ― externalities, strategic behavior, incentives, and public goods. We also researched the present situations of city centers of provincial cities in Japan. We propose important points to consider in the case where we revitalize city centers ― internalization of externalities, consensus-building, public transportation systems.
