Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This kaken supported research focused on the impact of the 2011 earthquake to foreign firms in Japan. It could be shown that many expatriates left Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake. However, when foreign firms heavily relied on expatriated people, they left to a lower extent. Implications of these findings were discussed.
