Outline of Annual Research Achievements

今年度は、(1)ナノトランスファープリンティング法でのナノギャップ電極の作製の継続、(2)シトクロムC3と呼ばれる酸化・還元準位を3つ含むタンパク質の電気伝導経路に関する考察を行った。(1)については、試料への電極の付着が困難であり、今後、何らかの対処法が必要で、今後の課題となった。(2)については、新しく考察結果が得られたので、以下に記述する。

シトクロムC3、シトクロムC、マンガン12核錯体の電気伝導の温度依存性の結果を比較したところ、100K未満の温度領域では、電流-電圧特性の全ての結果は、低次元クーロンブロッケードで記述可能であることが分かった。これら3種類の物質は、ポテンシャルが異なるにも関わらず、実験結果から見積もられたチャージングエネルギーおよび活性化エネルギーは、ほぼ同程度であった。これらの結果から、電荷輸送経路は、分子間では無く、DNAと分子のイオンペアサイト間であることが示唆された。
