Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Within type II and heterotic superstring theory, we have derived the gauge group of the standard model and its three chiral generations of quarks and letptons. We have also studied realization of experimental values of gauge couplings and quark/lepton masses and their mixing angles through perturbative calculations. Furthermore, we have studied concrtetely non-perturbative effects. We have also studied cosmological aspects such as inflation, dark matter, etc. We have proposed new types of inflation models and new scenarios of thermal history.
