Outline of Final Research Achievements

We have been studying to produce hyperpolarized 19F compound as MRI contrast media via parahydrogen induced polarization (PHIP). Since the parahydrogen concentration in normal hydrogen gas is 25% at room temperature, we must prepare high purity parahydrogen gas in order to hyperpolarize 19F compound by the PHIP method. Therefore, we constructed the parahydrogen generating system.
