Outline of Final Research Achievements

A series of two-directional oscillatory-bed experiments was conducted to examine quasi-equivalent bedforms by pure oscillatory flow with periodically changing its direction. The results showed two-dimensional bedform, and three dimensional bedforms with a grid-like pattern or honey-comb-like pattern developed depending on variety of flow direction, flow velocity, duration of flow, and bed materials.
