Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We established a new method to determine solution properties over a wide temperature range between melting and boiling points of common organic solvents. We published the following findings. 1. An abnormal temperature dependence of polystyrene in a ketone. 2. Change in molecular shape for polysilanes around their thermochromic temperature in solution. 3. Determination of solution structure of a novel synthetic helical polymer. 4. Temperature induced complex formation-deformation behavior of collagen model peptides and polyelectrolytes in aqueous solution.
