Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To understand the evolution of life, we focused proteins. Proteins have changed their amino acid sequences along with evolution. In this study, we investigated a random mutational drift of proteins for evolution. Our results collectively support a crucial link between protein evolution and stabilization mechanisms based on the evolutionary history of organisms.
