Outline of Final Research Achievements

Development and evaluation of supramolecular polymer using molecular techniques of spiroborates were achieved.
Spiroborates molecule as supramolecular polymer succeeded in the formation of supramolecular complexes with lanthanoid metals. The new macrocyclic spiroborates were successfully inclusion of cation molecules (viologen derivatives containing naphthalene therein) in its internal space. In addition, the structures of the macrocyclic spiroborates consisting multilayer were confirmed by single crystal X-ray structure analysis.
