Outline of Final Research Achievements

It is found that a gene possibly encoding a transcription factor, which controls transcription of genome DNA to mRNA, is responsible for bacterial virulent factor of coughing by intranasal infection of rats with Bordetella bronchiseptica as an experimental model of whooping cough.
