| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We performed an epidemiological study for new biomarkers in the comprehensive prevention of heart, kidney and eye diseases. We found positive associations of N-terminal fragment prohormone brain-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) with electrocardiogram disorder, renal dysfunction and fundus vascular disorder. In this process, we established a baseline of cohort study including serum NT-proBNP, electrocardiogram, serum creatinine, and fundus examinations.
