Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The patients with diabetes increase rapidly in Japan. Diabetes causes arteriosclerotic disease such as myocardial infarction or cerebral infarction and becomes the main cause of death. However, the initial treatment that targeted arteriosclerosis is impossible because the detection of the arteriosclerotic early-stage disease due to diabetes is difficult. In this study, we detected the vascular endothelial cells disorder that was arteriosclerotic early-stage disease by microangiography using the synchrotron radiation and showed that the early treatment could be provided.
