Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A prototype system for next-generation treatment planning system for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) has been developed. The system can estimate doses determined by combination with micro-dosimetry technology and Monte-Carlo dose calculation method. We performed verification for the system. The verification results demonstrated that the system can determine doses given to a patient by neutron irradiation in BNCT precisely. The outcomes were presented in some congress for BNCT, and some peer-review reports for the developments have been described and published. And some patents for the inventions have been also applied.
