Outline of Final Research Achievements

The cerebral microcirculation has a central role in supporting the neurological activity, yet our understanding how anesthesia affect the regulation mechanisms of local cerebral blood flow is extremely limited. We investigated the role of astrocyte in neurovascular coupling especially in patients with hypertension.
