Outline of Final Research Achievements |
2g/kg Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) treatment significantly suppressed inflammation and C4d deposition in kidney allografts in a rat antibody-mediated rejection kidney transplant model. This mechanism acts, not only to reduce expression of mRNA levels of C1q and C3 in kidney allografts, but to suppress production of donor specific antibody.
