Outline of Final Research Achievements

5-aminolevurinic acid (5-ALA) induced apoptosis of tumor cells by promoting accumulation of intra-cellular PpIX in time and concentration dependent manner in pediatric neuroblastoma cell line. For future prospect, investigations on the effect of 5-ALA in vivo is needed.
