Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We proposed a self-management support program for liver cancer patients and initiated a survey to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the support program. Based on the support program, we intervened in hepatocellular carcinoma patients who would start sorafenib therapy, and compared between the baseline and the two months after initiation of therapy. As a result, Self-efficacy and Health-related quality of life tended to decrease. To suggest the effectiveness of the support program, the future research should compare between the patients groups with and without the intervention based on the support program, and increase the number of cases.
