Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A research on the flexible software architecture in order to realize the degradable execution on runtime failures has been conducted. A flexible software model for degradable execution based on the object virtualization has been built. A defect isolation mechanism and a defect impact analysis mechanism to detect objects that have relation to the defective objects have been designed. A runtime environment that allows degradable execution of exiting software systems written in Java has been built and evaluated.
