Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to clarify how puppeteers can realize cooperative manipulation in Bunraku, we examined (1) whether “Zu” was important or not for cooperation, (2) the way a puppeteer showed “Zu” depended or not on experience of the puppeteer, and (3) whether synchronization of breathing among puppeteers means their harmonious combination in performance. As a result, we showed that (1) “Zu” was primarily important for cooperative manipulation in Bunraku, (2) the way a puppeteer showed “Zu” did not depend on his experience, and (3) synchronization of breathing among puppeteers did not mean their harmonious combination.
