Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to explore how livelihoods match with ecological systems and to investigate survival strategies of socially vulnerable people in South Asia. Crop production and animal feeding were strongly depended on natural resources in the village. Vegetables, seasoning, such as salt and oil etc., tea and cigarettes were covered by cash from labor work and migrant work. When money is necessary, not only kin but also money lender was important.
