Outline of Final Research Achievements |
German unjust enrichment law has been appreciated as a "model" for unjust enrichment law in general. However, an analysis on the same topic in French law seems to show a promising future of a new approach, in which systematization of the field is not based on performance (Leistung) but on actions which justify the claimant's submission. This approach may be useful in analyzing unjust enrichment law in other jurisdictions, such as Japanese and English law.
