Research Abstract |
The purpose of this experimental study was to obtain fully-recrystallized nano structures having mean grain sizes much smaller than 1 um in various metallic alloys. Fully-recrystallized nano crystals were successfully obtained by simple cold-deformation and annealing processes in Fe-31Mn-3Al-3Si, Fe-22Mn-0.6C, Cu-6.8Al (mass%) and some high entropy alloys. All alloys showing fully-recrystallized nano structures exhibited both high strength and large tensile elongation at room temperature.
